Hi I’m Frensis

Currently living in London but genuinely and passionately MADE IN ITALY.

 

After studying ancient cultures and philosophies in Italy I moved to the UK where, beside graduating in Architecture, I grew a strong interest in the relationship between Aesthetics and Philosophy, and the way they are part of our everyday life.

Call me anachronistic or just a nostalgic, I am one of those people that live in constant search of beauty, beauty of cities or beauty of nature, beauty of a piece of art or beauty of a derelict corner, beauty of the old and beauty of the new,  that aesthetic ideal that Japanese culture would describe as Wabi-Sabi and that I am constantly discovering around the world, beauty.

It won’t be hard to understand how this is related to my passion for photography, which I have always perceived as the media to take feelings, colours, experiences, perfumes, and every other memory and turn them into matter, in a way, to make them survive time.
